I began in the world of visual design in high school. Messing around in Photoshop turned into a desire to educate myself on the dos and don’ts of design. I joined my high school’s printshop, and from there, I learned how to earn some money doing what was then just a hobby. While working on projects for my school in my senior year, I decided to apply to a lead Graphic Design position at a local firm.

With what I had taught myself, I earned the Lead Graphic Design position I applied for at the age of 17. With high school over I went on to college to pursue a degree in Evolutionary Biology. It took me until Junior year before I realized that what I was pursuing was the wrong path. I made the swift decision to move to art school, and took an extra semester to earn my Bachelor in Arts degree to restart the career I began at 17. I’m now looking for my next full-time design position.
